The Notes Board

The dentist at 2:40. Library bag on Wednesday. That thing your mum asked you about on Sunday. You’re carrying all of it, mumma, and there is no reason you should have to.

My notes boards give it somewhere to live instead. Up on the wall or on the bench, written on in a second, wiped off with a dry cloth, and nobody in the house gets to say they didn’t know.

• Wipes clean with a dry cloth, ready for next week’s list
• Your colour underneath, with the lettering raised on top so the edges catch the light
• Hangs on the wall, or sits on the bench on its stand
• Written on by anyone who walks past, which is rather the point!

Pick your colour and your lettering and I’ll cut it.
